This high school course involves a broad study of technology and how it affects every aspect of our lives. Problem solving skills are emphasized through a series of design briefs that incorporate the application of Math and Science. In lab and classroom activities students experience ways to create, use, improve, control, and assess a variety of possible technologies including: design, communicating design solutions, processing materials, construction, manufacturing, communication systems, electronics and the computer, graphic communications, energy and power, transportation, safety issues, and biotechnologies.
