This high school course will provide the students with a general introduction to basic woodworking skills. Students will learn the safe use of hand tools, portable power tools, and stationary power tools. Tools safety and usage will be discussed in detail to give the student the knowledge and confidence to operate each tool safely and effectively. Throughout the course students will build a variety of projects that will follow a course of instruction through demonstrations and hand on learning techniques.
